What happens next

Four short steps, then you're represented.

  1. 01

    Tell us who is signing

Your legal name and email, an optional phone number, and an optional co-buyer. Choose a verified Remark Homes Realtor or let us assign one.

  2. 02

    Describe your search

House or condo, and the California counties to include. That's it: no budgets, no wish lists, nothing that isn't on the agreement.

  3. 03

    Review the terms

3% of the purchase price, exclusive representation, 3 months. You confirm the summary and a privacy notice before anything is sent.

  4. 04

    E-sign when you're ready

The agreement is prepared and you receive a secure link by email. Verify with a one-time code, review every page, initial, and sign. Your Realtor signs too, and everyone gets the completed copy.

Verified Realtors

Choose who you work with

These Realtors hold verified accounts with our agreement service and a public California license. Each has a dedicated link that pre-selects them in the form.

No preference? Choose "Any available Realtor" in the form and Jeff Johnson will be assigned. Other Remark Homes agents may also appear in the form as their profiles are verified.

Good to know

Questions buyers ask before signing

What is a Buyer Representation and Broker Compensation Agreement?

It is the California Association of REALTORS® form (BRBC) that sets out how a brokerage represents you as a buyer and how the broker is compensated. Since 2024, agents in California must have a written agreement with a buyer before touring homes together.

What exactly are the terms?

The Remark Homes agreement uses fixed terms that cannot be changed on this form: compensation of 3% of the purchase price, exclusive representation, for a 3 months period beginning the day it is prepared. The agreement covers houses or condominiums in the counties you select. Any other arrangement must be discussed directly with your Realtor.

Am I committing to anything by filling out the form?

No. Submitting the form prepares the document and sends you a secure link. Nothing is binding until you review the full agreement and e-sign it. If you change your mind, simply do not sign.

Who will represent me?

Only Remark Homes Realtors with a verified account appear in the picker. Every name shows the agent's California license number. If you choose "Any available Realtor," the brokerage assigns one for you.

Is my information safe?

Your details are sent directly to our secure agreement and e-signature service over an encrypted connection. Signing links are unique, single-purpose, and protected by a one-time verification code sent to your email. We do not share your name or email with advertising or analytics tools.

I just have a question. Do I need to do this?

Not at all. If you are not ready to work with an agent, use the contact form instead. This page is only for buyers who want Remark Homes to represent them.
